What is Rejuran S?
Rejuran S is part of the Rejuran family from Pharma Research in Korea. Like Rejuran Healer, it contains polynucleotide (PN) derived from salmon DNA. The S formula is thicker and is designed to be injected directly under depressed acne scars. The aim is to support tissue repair beneath the scar so that the depression looks shallower over time.
It is often used alongside treatments that remodel the scar surface, such as fractional lasers or RF microneedling, rather than on its own. Results vary with scar type and depth, and improvement is usually gradual over several sessions. Like other Rejuran products, it is not suitable for people with a fish or salmon allergy, and bumps, swelling and bruising at injection points are common for a few days after treatment.
