Shurink Universe is a high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) lifting device made by Classys, a Korean medical device company. It focuses ultrasound energy into small points of heat beneath the skin. Those heated points cause collagen to contract and then trigger new collagen production over the following weeks, which firms and lifts the face without needles or incisions.

How does Shurink Universe HIFU work?
HIFU uses the same basic principle as a magnifying glass concentrating sunlight: energy passes harmlessly through the skin surface and focuses at a chosen depth.
- 4.5 mm cartridge: targets the SMAS, the fibrous layer that supports facial tissue — the main source of lift.
- 3.0 mm cartridge: targets the deep dermis for firmness.
- 1.5–2.0 mm cartridges: work more superficially, for skin texture and fine crepiness.

- English consultation. A licensed doctor checks your skin and fat distribution, then agrees the shot count and price.
- Cleansing and optional numbing. Numbing cream can be applied for comfort, especially around the jaw.
- Treatment. Gel is applied and the doctor passes the handpiece over each zone. You feel warm, prickling pulses, strongest over bone.
- Soothing. Gel is removed and skin is calmed. You can usually leave straight away.

Recovery, side effects and safety
Shurink is generally well tolerated. Common and temporary effects include redness, mild swelling, tenderness along the jawline and a tingling sensation for a few days. Less commonly, people experience small bruises, welts along treatment lines or temporary numbness.
Rare risks include temporary nerve irritation and, if energy is placed in the wrong layer or overused on a thin face, unwanted fat loss that makes cheeks look hollow.
