What is Shurink Universe?
Shurink Universe is a high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) device made by Classys in Korea. It focuses ultrasound energy into small points beneath the skin, creating tiny zones of heat at set depths. The heat tightens tissue on the day and encourages gradual collagen remodeling over the following weeks. Different cartridges target different depths, from the deeper support layer to the dermis, so the doctor can treat the lower face and jawline in layers.

What is a shot, and how many do you need?
A shot is one pass of focused ultrasound delivered through a cartridge. Each pass lays down a short row of heating points at one depth. More shots allow the doctor to cover a larger area, treat at more than one depth and add extra passes where skin is loosest.
300 shots: a focused area
Three hundred shots is a targeted plan. It suits a softening jawline, mild looseness under the chin or a quick top-up between bigger treatments. It is not designed to lift the whole face.
600 shots: a standard full face

What happens on Shurink Universe treatment day?
A Shurink appointment is short and predictable, which is one reason it fits easily into a busy Seoul itinerary.
- English consultation. A licensed doctor looks at where your skin is loose, checks for filler, threads or medical conditions, and agrees the shot count and final price with you before anything starts.
- Cleansing and numbing. Your face is cleansed and numbing cream is applied for about 20–30 minutes, because ultrasound can feel sharp over bone.
- Treatment. Ultrasound gel is applied and the doctor or trained staff under medical supervision moves the handpiece across each zone in rows. You feel brief, deep warmth or prickling with each shot. Energy can be reduced in sensitive spots.
- Soothing. The gel is removed and calming care is applied. Mild redness usually settles within a few hours, and you can normally wear makeup the same day.
Allow around an hour in total for a 600-shot plan. Larger plans with the neck take a little longer.
Results, side effects and safety
