Recovery is quick for both. After Shurink, mild redness fades within hours and jaw tenderness can last a few days. Is it safe? Risks and side effects
Both technologies are considered low risk when used by trained medical staff with appropriate settings. With HIFU, uncommon effects include small bruises, welts in a line pattern or temporary numbness; rarely, energy placed too deep in thin areas can cause nerve irritation or unwanted fat loss. With ONDA, uncommon effects include prolonged swelling, tenderness, temporary numbness or small firm areas; rarely, burns or contour irregularities can occur. Because ONDA reduces fat, over-treatment in a slim face could leave it looking hollow, so a doctor should judge how much fat there is to treat.
