What is Shurink Universe?

Shurink Universe is the latest Shurink HIFU platform from Classys, a Korean device maker. HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) focuses energy into small points deep below the skin to tighten tissue and stimulate collagen. It works like Ultherapy but without real-time imaging, at a much lower price.

How Shurink Universe works

Interchangeable cartridges focus energy at different depths, from the upper dermis down to the SMAS, the fibrous layer that supports the lower face. Each focal point heats briefly and contracts, then heals with fresh collagen over several weeks.

Deep cartridges target the SMAS for lift along the jaw and cheeks.
Mid-depth cartridges firm the dermis and soft fullness under the chin.
Shallow cartridges refine skin texture and fine crepiness.

Because HIFU can gently reduce fat at the depths it heats, it is popular for V-line contouring. The same effect is why your doctor plans carefully if your face is already slim.

Consultation in English with a licensed medical doctor, who assesses skin, fat and bone structure.
Cleansing and numbing with topical anesthetic cream, usually for 20–30 minutes.
Marking of zones to treat and nerves to avoid.
Treatment area by area, changing cartridges for each depth.
Soothing with a calming moisturizer and sunscreen.

Expect warm, prickly pulses, more noticeable over the jawbone. Most people find it more comfortable than Ulthera.

Downtime and aftercare

There is no real downtime. You may see slight redness for an hour or two, and the jawline can feel tender when you chew for a few days. Small bruises or a temporary numb patch are uncommon and settle on their own. Avoid saunas, hot baths and intense workouts for 24 hours. Makeup is fine the same day.

Results: what to expect and when

Some firming can be seen straight away. The main change builds over four to eight weeks as collagen forms, with a cleaner jaw angle, less fullness under the chin and firmer cheeks. Safety: who should avoid or delay it

Shurink is not suitable during pregnancy, over open wounds or an active skin infection, or where there is severe or cystic acne in the treatment area. Tell your doctor about implanted electronic devices such as a pacemaker, metal implants in the face, recent filler or threads, a bleeding disorder or blood thinners. How many shots of Shurink do I need?

Does Shurink make your face thinner?
