Dernia Clinic Myeongdong is a doctor-led dermatology and aesthetic clinic opening soon in Myeongdong, central Seoul. We were built for international visitors who want modern Korean skin treatments explained clearly, in English, by licensed medical doctors.

A licensed medical doctor sees you for an English consultation, recommends only what your skin needs, and confirms your plan and price in Korean won before treatment. Our aim is natural, refreshed results, never an overdone look.
Who we are
A dermatology and aesthetic clinic built for visitors to Seoul
Seoul has become one of the world's busiest cities for skin treatments, and many travelers now plan a clinic visit alongside sightseeing and shopping. From abroad, that can be hard to navigate: prices quoted in shots, lines and cc, menus written for local patients, and very little time to ask questions. Dernia Clinic Myeongdong was created to make that experience clear and calm.
We are a doctor-led clinic. Your consultation, your treatment plan and your medical treatments are handled by licensed medical doctors, supported by a trained clinical team. We focus on non-surgical dermatology and aesthetic care: lifting and tightening, skin boosters, injectables, lasers for pigment and redness, and programs for acne and skin texture.

Doctor-led from start to finish
A licensed medical doctor assesses your skin, explains your options and confirms whether a treatment is suitable for you. Your plan is set by a doctor who has examined your skin, not chosen from a sales menu.
No over-treatment
If a treatment will not help your concern, or your trip is too short to recover comfortably, we will tell you. Sometimes the right answer is fewer treatments, a lower dose, or waiting until your next visit to Seoul.
Transparent pricing
Prices are in Korean won (KRW), exclude 10% VAT, and are confirmed in writing at your consultation before any treatment starts. Browse our price guides and payment and tax information before you travel.
Why Myeongdong
In the center of Seoul, close to where you stay
Myeongdong sits in Jung-gu, at the heart of Seoul, and is one of the easiest neighborhoods in the city for visitors to reach. It is served by Myeongdong Station on Line 4 and Euljiro 1-ga Station on Line 2. From Incheon Airport, you can take the AREX train to Seoul Station and then ride Line 4 two stops to Myeongdong, and airport limousine buses also serve the area.
Many international visitors already stay in or near Myeongdong, so a consultation or a short treatment can fit between other plans without a long trip across the city. Namsan and the downtown palaces are close by, which means a treatment day does not have to be a lost day.

Rejuran Healer , Juvelook and hyaluronic acid skin boosters for hydration, fine texture, glow and overall skin quality.
Injectables
Wrinkle Botox , jaw Botox and dermal filler , dosed conservatively so that expressions stay natural and volume stays in proportion.
Laser, pigment and redness
Pico toning , IPL photofacial and Excel V laser for melasma, sun spots, uneven tone, visible vessels and redness.
Acne, texture and facials
Our acne clinic program , Potenza RF microneedling and Hydrafacial for breakouts, acne scars, enlarged pores and rough texture.

International patients
How we work with patients visiting from abroad
Most of our patients will be in Seoul for days, not months. That changes how a treatment plan should be built, so we ask about your travel dates from the very first message.
- English consultations. Your doctor explains your options, risks, costs and aftercare in English.
- Plans built around your trip. We schedule treatments with visible downtime early in your stay and avoid anything that would leave you swollen or bruised on the day you fly home.
- Clear prices in KRW. Prices exclude 10% VAT. The VAT refund for cosmetic procedures ended on January 1, 2026, so we quote VAT clearly instead of promising a refund.
- Aftercare you can follow at home. You leave with written aftercare instructions, and you can message us with questions after you return home.

Our commitments
What you can expect from us
As a new clinic, we do not yet have patient reviews to show you, and we will never publish invented ones. Instead, we make clear promises about how we work, and our medical team publishes honest expert reviews of each treatment , including who it does not suit.
Honest consultations
Your doctor will tell you what a treatment can and cannot do, how many sessions are realistic, and when a simpler option would serve you just as well. You are never expected to decide on the spot. Our list of questions to ask at your consultation is a good place to start.
Genuine, sealed products
Toxins, fillers and skin boosters are opened from sealed packaging. Ask, and we will show you the product box and label before treatment. For device treatments, you can ask to see the treatment tip or cartridge and the shot count.
Clear aftercare
Every treatment ends with written aftercare instructions covering sun protection, skincare, exercise and what to watch for in the days that follow. Our aftercare guide explains what is normal after each type of treatment.
Safety before speed

Who performs the treatments?
Medical treatments at Dernia are performed by licensed medical doctors, who also carry out your consultation and set your treatment plan. A trained clinical team supports them with cleansing, numbing cream, soothing care and aftercare explanations.
Do you offer consultations in English?
Yes. Consultations are held in English, and your treatment plan, price and aftercare instructions are explained in English. Read more in Do you offer consultations in English?
How do your prices work?
Prices are in Korean won (KRW), exclude 10% VAT and are confirmed at your consultation before treatment. Device treatments are often priced by shots or lines and injectables by units or cc. Our guide to shots, lines and cc explains how to compare quotes.
Can I get a VAT refund on treatments?
No. The VAT refund for cosmetic procedures for foreign patients ended on January 1, 2026. General shopping tax refunds are separate. See our 2026 VAT refund update.
Will I be pressured into extra treatments?
No. Our doctors recommend only what your skin needs and what fits your schedule in Seoul. You can take your written plan away, think it over and decide later.
Do you perform plastic surgery?
No. Dernia focuses on non-surgical dermatology and aesthetic treatments such as lasers, energy-based lifting, skin boosters and injectables. If your goals would be better served by surgery, your doctor will tell you so honestly.
