Tracking your progress

Redness and marks change slowly and look different under every light, so take photos before each session.

Use the same window light at the same time of day; avoid warm indoor bulbs, which hide redness.
Photograph freshly cleansed skin, at least a few hours after washing.
Take close-ups of areas with marks or redness as well as full-face views.
Keep camera settings, distance and angle the same.

If your results aren't what you expected

Judge the series, not one session. If you have completed three or more sessions and see little change, contact Dernia with your photos. Your doctor may change the delivery method, adjust the plan or recommend a treatment that targets your main concern more directly, such as a vascular laser for redness or resurfacing for scars.
