A 7-Day Seoul Skin Treatment Schedule

Quick answer: A week in Seoul lets you add treatments with a few days of downtime, such as CO2 fractional laser, a thread lift or Agnes RF, as long as they happen in the first two days. A typical week at Dernia Clinic Myeongdong is consultation and main treatment on days 1–2, recovery and sightseeing on days 3–5, and a light session and check on day 6.

  • Days 1–2: Consultation and any treatment with downtime
  • Days 3–5: Recovery, sightseeing, light add-ons
  • Day 6: Follow-up check and finishing touches
  • Day 7: Fly home
  • Newly possible: CO2 laser, thread lift, Agnes RF, Potenza, mole removal
  • Still a series: Pigment, scar and booster plans continue after you leave

What a week makes possible

A short trip limits you to treatments with almost no downtime. A full week changes that. If the stronger treatments happen at the start, there is time for redness, crusting or swelling to settle and for your doctor to check healing before you fly. At Dernia Clinic Myeongdong, a licensed medical doctor plans the order so the most intensive work comes first and the lightest last.

Treatment Typical downtime 3-day trip 7-day trip
CO2 fractional laser 5–7 days of redness and crusting No Yes, on day 1
Thread lift 3–7 days of swelling or bruising No Yes, on day 1 or 2
Agnes RF 2–5 days of swelling Not ideal Yes
Potenza 2–4 days of redness Tight Yes
Mole removal A healing patch for 5–10 days Possible with a patch Yes
Under-eye filler Possible swelling or bruising for 2–5 days Tight Yes, with a review

Choose your track

Track 1: resurfacing and scars

  • Day 1: consultation, then CO2 fractional laser or Potenza for scars and texture.
  • Days 2–4: healing. Keep the skin moist, stay out of the sun and plan indoor sightseeing such as museums.
  • Day 5: a check with your doctor as redness fades.
  • Day 6: a soothing LDM session, and wrinkle Botox if wanted.
  • Day 7: fly home with sunscreen and a hat.

Track 2: lifting and contour

  • Day 1: consultation, then Ulthera Prime, Thermage FLX or Shurink Universe, plus Botox or jaw Botox.
  • Day 2: a thread lift or filler if it is part of your plan.
  • Days 3–5: sightseeing while any swelling settles.
  • Day 6: a review, plus a skin booster such as Rejuran Healer if wanted.
  • Day 7: fly home.

Track 3: glow and pigment

  • Day 1: consultation, then pico toning or IPL depending on your pigment type, plus an HA skin booster.
  • Days 2–4: strict sun protection while any darkened spots flake.
  • Day 5: a Hydrafacial if wanted.
  • Day 6: Skinvive or Rejuran Healer for glow.
  • Day 7: fly home.

Why the order matters

  • Most downtime first: it gives the longest healing window.
  • Energy devices before injectables: heat and pressure come before product is placed on the same day.
  • Filler early, not last: it leaves time to review and adjust.
  • Keep the last day light: avoid new injections on the day you fly if you can.
  • Don't stack downtime: two treatments with swelling in the same area can double recovery.

Sightseeing around healing

  • Right after CO2 laser: indoor museums, cafés and malls, with a hat and mask outdoors.
  • After lifting or toxin: almost anything, except saunas and strenuous hikes for a day.
  • After a thread lift: gentle walks; avoid wide yawning, chewing tough food and pressure on the face.
  • Save long sunny day trips for the second half of the week.

Leaving Seoul mid-series

Many treatments in a week are the first step of a longer plan. Scar resurfacing, pigment toning and Rejuran usually need several sessions spaced weeks apart. Before you leave, ask for a written summary of the device, settings, products and amounts, so you can continue on your next trip or with a doctor at home. See what if I can't finish a series.

Safety first

Stronger treatments are not right for everyone. A tendency to keloid scarring, recent isotretinoin, an active infection or cold sore, pregnancy, or blood thinners can rule options out or change the plan. Tell your doctor everything at the consultation, and expect an honest answer if a gentler option is safer.

Before you book

Share your exact dates and flight times when you book a consultation, so the main treatment lands on day 1. If you only have a long weekend, see the 3-day schedule, and read how long to stay in Seoul for treatment.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers from our medical team. Still unsure? Ask a doctor or browse all patient questions .

Is a week enough for CO2 laser in Seoul?

Usually, yes, if the laser is done on day 1 or 2. Redness and crusting typically settle over 5–7 days, though the skin may stay pink for a while longer. Strict sun protection on the flight and at home is essential.

Can I have a thread lift and fly home a week later?

Usually, yes. Swelling or bruising typically settles over 3–7 days, and a check before you leave is recommended. Avoid wide mouth opening and pressure on the face for the first couple of weeks.

Can I have two pico toning sessions in one week?

Toning sessions are usually spaced one to two weeks apart, so one session per short trip is typical. Your doctor may combine toning with a booster or facial instead, and continue the series on your next visit.

Should I get Botox at the start or end of the week?

At the start. Botox begins working within a few days and reaches its full effect at about two weeks, so an early session lets you see it settle before you leave.

What if healing takes longer than expected?

Contact the clinic and your doctor will check you. Most healing continues normally at home with the right aftercare, and you will leave with clear instructions for the following days.

Can I combine several tracks?

Some combinations work well, such as lifting with skin boosters. Your doctor avoids stacking treatments with downtime in the same area and will suggest the safest order.
